Compare the plan you would actually use.
Selekt’s free plan includes unlimited manual culling and export, on-device quality scoring, and 100 cloud AI analyses each month. Pro adds cloud allowance and storage. See Selekt’s current plans →
PhotoCuller’s Standard licence covers two devices with one year of updates; Plus covers four devices with two years. Included Mac versions remain usable when update coverage ends. Mobile access is included during that coverage period. It offers a 30-day trial. Check localized prices and tax at checkout; the Mac licence and ongoing mobile access are not the same purchase entitlement.
Try this before choosing
Use the same shoot in both apps.
- Choose a representative folder. Include your usual RAW files, a burst, a difficult lighting situation, and photographs you already know you would keep. Use a backed-up copy.
- Finish a real selection. Do you need to move between Mac and Windows, or between Mac and iPad? Test your actual source library and editor handoff on each device you plan to use.
- Complete the handoff. Open the exported selects in your editor. Check ratings, sidecars, RAW/JPEG pairing, and the amount of manual cleanup. Judge the whole workflow, not just the initial import.
A repeatable test on your own files is more useful than an unsupported claim that one app is universally faster.
